The City of Kerrville will hold an election on Saturday, May 4, 2019, for citizens to elect two councilmembers.
Only registered voters in the City of Kerrville will be allowed to vote in the May 4 City of Kerrville General Election.
Persons wishing to submit a new voter registration application or request a transfer of registration should contact the Kerr County Voter Registrar’s Office at (830) 792-2242.
The deadline to apply or transfer registration in time to vote in the May 4 election is April 4, 2019.
Citizens may now request an application for early voting by mail by contacting the Kerr County Voter Registrar’s Office at the Kerr County Courthouse, 700 Main Street, Kerrville, Texas 78028, or by calling (830) 792-2242.
Applications for a ballot to be voted by mail must be received in the Kerr County Voter Registrar’s Office by April 23, 2019.
A qualified voter is eligible for early voting by mail if:
• The voter expects to be absent from the county during the period of early voting by personal appearance, April 22, 2019 – April 30, 2019 and on Election Day, May 4, 2019.
• The voter is disabled.
• The voter is 65 years of age or older.
• The voter is confined in jail.
