The City of Kerrville will host an Appraisal District Information Workshop for local elected and appointed officials on Wednesday, May 29 at 1:30 p.m. at Kerrville City Hall, 701 Main St. Information will be provided by the Perdue Law Firm.
The law firm will be providing information on the following:
• The history behind the Peveto Bill that created tax appraisal districts in 1979;
• Duties and governance of the tax appraisal district;
• How the Appraisal District’s board of directors are selected and their duties;
• Selection and duties of the Appraisal Review Board.
The public is welcome to attend this free workshop, and no registration is required.
