Concerts by the River “Tejano Music Night” rescheduled for June 1

CITY OF KERRVILLE

The Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department will be rescheduling the rained-out May 3 “Concerts by the River” for Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 7 p.m. The night will include Mariachi and Tejano style music. Come out to see Fritz Morquecho and the Mariachi de Kerrville and the Tejano Pride Band perform live! Concert goers are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and picnic blankets. Also, come out to enjoy food from Conchitas and beverages by Pint and Plow!

Concerts by the River is a series of free concerts that will take place on Friday evenings in Louise Hays Park, 202 Thompson Dr. (NOTE: THE JUNE 1 CONCERT IS ON SATURDAY BECAUSE OF RESCHEDULING ADJUSTMENTS. ALL OTHER CONCERTS WILL STILL BE ON FRIDAY NIGHTS AS PLANNED.)

Additional concert dates for 2019 are as follows: June 21, July 19, August 30 and September 20. Be sure to stop by the Pint and Plow booth for refreshments at each concert. Pint and Plow’s proceeds from these concerts will be donated back to the Parks and Recreation Department’s tree program.
