Kerrville, Texas — Have you always wanted to learn more about plants and planting techniques for our area?
Come join us Saturday, May 11 at 10:30 a.m. in the ButtHoldsworth Memorial Library meeting room, located at 505 Water St., for the fifth in a series of gardening programs.
Kim Courtright, a Master Gardener through the Hill Country Master Gardeners program, will discuss how to compost, building your own compost pile, and composting with worm bins.
Courtright will also provide tips on harvesting from your garden. Informational handouts will be available.
The Gardening 101 series is held on the second Saturday of each month through July, with each one-hour program touching upon different gardening topics for our area.
Please attend any or all programs that interest you. This free program is open to the public and no registration is required.
