KCAS changes adoption fee, provides micro-chipping service to the public


KERR COUNTY – It was announced by Kerr County Animal Services that a new adoption fee has been set and they are now offering micro-chipping.

The new KCAS adoption fee is $50 and includes the spaying or neutering of your newly adopted pet as well as a rabies shot, micro-chipping, and a one year city and county registration.

KCAS added that their new service, micro-chipping, will be available to the public for $5 with a valid ID.

“If the animal is over 4 months of age please bring proof of rabies also,” KCAS noted on a Facebook post.
