Some different types of scams that are being reported daily are I.R.S. scam calls, Medicare / Medicaid, Drivers License scam calls, and Social Security scam calls.

“Scammers are requesting the person to verify their social security number, driver’s license number, or date of birth.”
The Kerr County Sheriff’s Office is advising the public not to provide any personal or financial information to anyone they do not know, and to please use good judgment when dealing with these situations.
