There will also be a Sand Volleyball Tournament at 5:30 p.m. at the Lehmann and Monroe Park volleyball courts. The tournament will be 4v4, round robin, one-game matches. The fees are $20 per team. The tournament will also have food, yard-games, music, and raffle prizes. Contact for information on how to register a team.

In addition, to add a special flare to the event, Playhouse 2000’s Shakespeare in the Park will be held on Friday and Saturday, June 7-8, at 8 p.m. It will be held at the Centennial Stage at Louise Hays Park.

“We have a day full of fun activities planned to encourage play,” Boyle said. “Play is beneficial for physical, emotional, social, and cognitive well-being. Grab your family and friends and join us for a day of play!”
