GILLESPIE COUNTY, Texas — The Gillespie County Sheriff’s Office made two arrests on separate charges on Friday, March 28th, originating from a traffic stop on the 6400 block of US Highway 290 East, at approximately 9:15 p.m.
According to police, the 29-year-old driver of the vehicle had nine credit-debit cards on him and none of the cards matched his name.
“He was arrested and charged with Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Information, which is a 3rd-degree felony,” said a press release.
A 48-year-old female was in the passenger seat during the stop, and was found to also be the owner of the vehicle.
Police say that she was in possession of Methamphetamine and was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 < 1 Gram, which is a state jail felony.
Both individuals were transported to the Gillespie County Jail.
