KERR COUNTY – Austin Overgard, age 23, pleaded guilty to the charges against him for Injury to a Child, a third-degree felony, according to Kerr County court documents filed on May 10, 2019.
The charges stemmed from an incident that occurred on March 29 when Overgard’s 4-year-old stepson arrived at school with a burn on his neck. The Kerr County Sheriff’s Office later alleged that Overgard burned the child with a hot lighter.
