KERR COUNTY – The Kerr County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division along with the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division conducted a narcotics investigation regarding the supplying of methamphetamine from San Antonio to the Kerrville area, according to Sheriff Hierholzer in a recent press release.
As a result of the investigation, a traffic stop by Kerr County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies took place at approximately 7:00 p.m. on April 22.
The two suspects, identified as Aaron Joseph Lapointe, 37, and Jaime Karen Quintero, 42, both residents of San Antonio, were arrested after authorities seized an ounce of methamphetamine
A further investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division, the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office, and the San Antonio Police Departement yielded the seizure of another ounce of methamphetamine, as well as 3 MDMA tablets, S Yz Diazepam bars, and 1 dosage of LSD, said the sheriff.
Lapointe and Quintero were both charged for Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, Methamphetamine, 4 grams or more but less than 200 grams.
Both suspects were transported to the Kerr County Jail.
Allegedly both individuals admitted that they actively sold methamphetamine for a profit and had Kerrville area customers, stated Hierholzer.
