KERRVILLE, Texas — A Navy veteran and his wife woke up to find a car smashed into the carport of their house Friday morning at the corner of Hwy 27 and Ace Ranch Road in Kerrville.
82-year-old Harry Huggins told Texas Breaking News that he heard a loud crash at approximately 1 am outside of his house early Friday morning.
He woke up and looked outside and didn’t see anything and went back to bed.
When his wife went to leave Friday morning for an appointment, she found a white Ford Explorer that was smashed into their carport on their property.
A telephone pole was also damaged on the other side of the street with tire marks between it and a stop sign.
Kerr County Sheriff’s Office and DPS are investigating the incident.
There is no word yet on who the driver was or whether the person responsible for the crash is injured or not.
